The red onions and beetroot are always natural partners and married off as beetroot, feta and red onion salad, to be enjoyed with toasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds in a warmed pitta as a tasty late supper. The cabbage and carrots’ destiny to become coleslaw. The salad and ramsons will accompany this and that, and even the kale gets the steam treatment as part of a roast Sunday lunch. Only salsify is left to become this weeks culinary conundrum.
