Lovely to see some lettuce in the box this week.  Definitely time for our first Salade paysanne of the year.  We’ll also be making some brussel sprout and Stilton soup, which is a curiously perfect paring, and a potato gratin to go with our Monday Steak (a very good reason to go and buy some Gruyere).

More baked spuds this week with [1] carrot and apple salad, and [2] beetroot and feta salad.  I’ll also probably make some baba ganoush with the aubergine, since it is quick and makes a great snack.  And I love making a mess with the aubergine over the gas flame!
